Gita 11.43
पितासि लोकस्य चराचरस्य त्वमस्य पूज्यश्च गुरुर्गरीयान्।
न त्वत्समोऽस्त्यभ्यधिकः कुतोऽन्यो लोकत्रयेऽप्यप्रतिमप्रभाव।।
pitāsi lokasya carācarasya tvam asya pūjyaś ca gurur garīyān na tvat-samo 'sty abhyadhikaḥ kuto 'nyo loka-traye 'py apratima-prabhāva
"You are the father of the world, of all that moves and does not move. You are its object of worship and most venerable teacher. No one equals You—how then could anyone surpass You in the three worlds, O incomparable Lord?"
What This Means:
You're the father of everything, worthy of worship, the greatest teacher. NO ONE EQUALS You—so how could anyone surpass You? In all three worlds, You're incomparable.
Going Deeper:
The logic of supremacy: if none equals, none can exceed. Arjuna establishes both uniqueness (apratima—incomparable) and ultimacy. This isn't comparison but recognition of category-transcendence.
How To Apply This:
The truly ultimate has no comparison. Stop comparing the Divine to things. It's not the 'best' among options—it's beyond the category of comparison entirely.
