Taittiriya Upanishad 3.4

स तपोऽतप्यत। स तपस्तप्त्वा। मनो ब्रह्मेति व्यजानात्। मनसो ह्येव खल्विमानि भूतानि जायन्ते। मनसा जातानि जीवन्ति। मनः प्रयन्त्यभिसंविशन्तीति।

sa tapo'tapyata | sa tapastaptvā | mano brahmeti vyajānāt | manaso hyeva khalvimāni bhūtāni jāyante | manasā jātāni jīvanti | manaḥ prayantyabhisaṃviśantīti |

"He performed austerity. Having performed austerity, he understood: Mind is Brahman. From mind indeed these beings are born. By mind they live once born. Into mind they enter upon departing."

What This Means:

Further meditation reveals mind as Brahman. All creation, sustenance, and dissolution happen in mind.

Going Deeper:

This corresponds to Manomaya kosha. Mind is subtler than prana, but still an object of awareness, not awareness itself.
