"From this Self arose space. From space arose air. From air arose fire. From fire arose water. From water arose earth. From earth arose plants. From plants arose food. From food arose the person."

What This Means:

The order of creation: from the Self, the five elements emerge in sequence (space→air→fire→water→earth), then plants, food, and finally the human being.

Going Deeper:

This is the tattva evolution: from the subtle (Atman) to the gross (physical body). Each level emerges from the previous, with consciousness as the ultimate source.

How To Apply This:

Trace your body back through food, plants, earth, water, fire, air, space - all the way to the Self. You are cosmic.
