"That which is hidden in the secret of the Vedas, in the Upanishads - Brahma knows that as the source of Brahman. The gods and sages of old who knew it became one with it and immortal."
What This Means:
This secret is hidden in the Upanishads. Brahma the creator knows it as the source. Ancient gods and sages who knew it became immortal.
Going Deeper:
Even the creator-god Brahma derives his knowledge from this secret. The Upanishads preserve what makes one immortal.
How To Apply This:
Value the Upanishadic teachings as the source of immortality. This is what even the gods seek to know.
