सर्वा दिशः ऊर्ध्वमधश्च तिर्यक् प्रकाशयन्भ्राजते यद्वनड्वान्। एवं स देवो भगवान्वरेण्यो योनिस्वभावानधितिष्ठत्येकः॥
sarvā diśaḥ ūrdhvamadhaśca tiryak prakāśayanbhrājate yadvanaDvān | evaṃ sa devo bhagavānvareṇyo yonisvabhāvānadhitiṣṭhatyekaḥ ||
"Just as the sun illumines all quarters - above, below, and across - so does this adorable God, the blessed Lord, preside over all natures that proceed from their sources."
What This Means:
Just as the sun lights up all directions, the blessed Lord illumines and presides over all natures arising from their sources.
Going Deeper:
The sun metaphor shows God as the illuminator of all manifestation. All things derive their nature (svabhava) from the one source (yoni).
