एकैकं जालं बहुधा विकुर्वन्नस्मिन्क्षेत्रे संहरत्येष देवः। भूयः सृष्ट्वा पतयस्तथेशः सर्वाधिपत्यं कुरुते महात्मा॥
ekaikaṃ jālaṃ bahudhā vikurvan asminkṣetre saṃharatyeṣa devaḥ | bhūyaḥ sṛṣṭvā patayastatheśaḥ sarvādhipatyaṃ kurute mahātmā ||
"This God, diversifying each web (of maya) in many ways, withdraws it in this field (of creation). Again creating, along with the lords, the great Lord exercises supreme sovereignty over all."
What This Means:
God spreads out the net of maya in many ways, then withdraws it. He creates again and again, exercising supreme lordship over all.
Going Deeper:
The cyclical creation (srishti), preservation, and dissolution (samhara) is the play of one Lord. Secondary lords (Brahma etc.) are also His creation.
How To Apply This:
See creation and dissolution as the divine play. The same Power that creates, withdraws. Nothing is permanently lost.
