"He who presides over every source, every form, and all sources - He who in the beginning nurtured with knowledge the golden sage Kapila, and saw him being born."

What This Means:

The one Lord presides over all sources and forms. He nurtured the ancient sage Kapila with knowledge and witnessed his birth.

Going Deeper:

Kapila is the legendary founder of Sankhya philosophy. The verse suggests God is prior even to the sage who revealed cosmic principles.

How To Apply This:

Know that the source of all philosophy and knowledge is ultimately the Divine. Even sages are nurtured by God.
