महान्प्रभुर्वै पुरुषः सत्त्वस्यैष प्रवर्तकः। सुनिर्मलामिमां प्राप्तिमीशानो ज्योतिरव्ययः॥

mahānprabhurvai puruṣaḥ sattvasyaiṣa pravartakaḥ | sunirmalāmimāṃ prāptimīśāno jyotiravyayaḥ ||

"The great Lord indeed is the Purusha, the impeller of the highest consciousness. He is the ruler, the most pure attainment, the imperishable light."

What This Means:

The great Lord Purusha moves all consciousness. He is the ruler, the purest goal, the eternal light.

Going Deeper:

Purusha (or Ishana/Ishvara) impels sattva (consciousness/goodness). He is both the supreme ruler and the purest goal of attainment.

How To Apply This:

Seek the great Lord who moves all consciousness. He is the purest goal, the eternal light.
