"As oil in sesame seeds, as butter in cream, as water in river beds, as fire in friction-sticks - so is the Self found in one's own self, by one who sees It through truth and austerity."
What This Means:
The Self is within you, just as oil is in seeds, butter in cream, water in streams, fire in wood. Through truth and austerity, you can find it.
Going Deeper:
Multiple analogies emphasize that the Self is not far away or abstract - it is latent within, needing only the right practice to extract it.
How To Apply This:
The Self is not elsewhere - it is within you, waiting to be revealed through sincere practice.
