""Dear one, just as birds go to a tree for rest, so does everything find rest in the supreme Self.""

What This Means:

All faculties, like birds returning to their tree at evening, return to rest in the supreme Self during deep sleep.

Going Deeper:

The beautiful image of birds coming home to roost illustrates how all aspects of experience have their source and resting place in Atman.

How To Apply This:

Like birds returning home, let all your scattered thoughts return to rest in the Self.
