""The Self resides in the heart. From here arise 101 nadis (channels). Each of these has 100 branches, and each branch has 72,000 sub-branches. In all these, Vyana circulates.""

What This Means:

The Self dwells in the heart. From there, countless energy channels spread throughout the body. Vyana (the pervading breath) circulates through all of them.

Going Deeper:

The 72,000 nadis of yogic anatomy are mentioned here. Vyana maintains circulation and coordination throughout the system.

How To Apply This:

The heart is the seat of the Self. Energy channels radiate from there. Yoga practices work to purify these channels.
