प्रणवो धनुः शरो ह्यात्मा ब्रह्म तल्लक्ष्यमुच्यते। अप्रमत्तेन वेद्धव्यं शरवत्तन्मयो भवेत्॥
praṇavo dhanuḥ śaro hyātmā brahma tallakṣyamucyate | apramattena veddhavyaṃ śaravattanmayo bhavet ||
"OM is the bow, the Self is the arrow, Brahman is called the target. It should be pierced by one who is undistracted. Like the arrow, one should become one with the target."
What This Means:
OM is the bow, you (the Self) are the arrow, Brahman is the target. Stay focused! Like an arrow hitting its mark, you become one with Brahman.
Going Deeper:
The arrow doesn't remain separate from the target - it becomes embedded in it. Similarly, the Self realizes its unity with Brahman.
How To Apply This:
Use OM to launch yourself toward Brahman. Don't stop until you merge with the target.
