"Fire is His head, sun and moon His eyes, the directions His ears, the revealed Vedas His speech, air His breath, the universe His heart, earth His feet - He is the inner Self of all beings."

What This Means:

The cosmic Person's body is the universe: fire is head, sun/moon are eyes, directions are ears, Vedas are speech, air is breath, universe is heart, earth is feet.

Going Deeper:

This is the Virat Purusha - the cosmic form. Every part of creation is a limb of the divine body.

How To Apply This:

See the divine Person in all of creation. The universe is His body; you are part of it.
