"From Him comes fire with the sun as fuel; from the moon comes rain; from rain come plants on earth; man sheds seed in woman - thus many creatures are born from the Purusha."

What This Means:

The cycle of creation: from Purusha comes fire/sun, from moon comes rain, rain grows plants, humans procreate - all beings come from the one Purusha.

Going Deeper:

This traces the chain of causation from the cosmic to the biological. All reproduction is ultimately from the one source.

How To Apply This:

Every birth is a manifestation of the cosmic Purusha. See the sacred in all life.
