यः सर्वज्ञः सर्वविद्यस्य ज्ञानमयं तपः। तस्मादेतद्ब्रह्म नाम रूपमन्नं च जायते॥

yaḥ sarvajñaḥ sarvavidyasya jñānamayaṃ tapaḥ | tasmādetadbrahma nāma rūpamannaṃ ca jāyate ||

"From Him who is all-knowing, whose tapas consists of knowledge, from that Brahman are born name, form, and food."

What This Means:

The all-knowing Brahman, whose creative power is knowledge itself, gives rise to names (words), forms (shapes), and food (matter).

Going Deeper:

Brahman's tapas is not effort but the natural radiance of infinite knowledge. From this, the world of name and form emerges.

How To Apply This:

Behind all names and forms is one knowing presence. See through names to the nameless.
