"This is the truth: the rituals which the sages saw in the mantras are variously elaborated in the three Vedas. Practice them constantly, you lovers of truth! This is your path to the world of good deeds."

What This Means:

The rituals described in the Vedas should be practiced by those seeking merit. This is the path of good action leading to good results.

Going Deeper:

This verse affirms the value of ritual (apara vidya) while setting up the contrast with higher knowledge.

How To Apply This:

Ritual and ethical action have their place. They purify the mind and prepare it for higher knowledge.
