Paraphrase of Maitri Upaniṣad 6.24

"Through OM, one sees the Self in the fourth state (turiya)."

What This Means:

OM leads to the fourth state of consciousness - beyond waking, dream, and sleep - where the Self is realized.

Going Deeper:

Turiya is not really a "state" but the consciousness that underlies and pervades all three states.

How To Apply This:

Let OM take you beyond all states to the ever-present awareness that witnesses them all.
