Paraphrase of Maitri Upaniṣad 6.17

"This Self is indeed inconceivable. The wise one attains It through OM."

What This Means:

The Self cannot be grasped by ordinary thinking, but the wise attain it through OM meditation.

Going Deeper:

Since the Self is beyond concepts, a trans-conceptual method is needed. OM bypasses the thinking mind.

How To Apply This:

Don't try to think your way to the Self - use OM to transcend thought entirely.
