Maitri Upaniṣad 6.3

"Brahman has two forms - the formed and the formless."

What This Means:

The ultimate reality has two aspects: one with form (manifest universe) and one without form (pure consciousness).

Going Deeper:

Saguna Brahman (with qualities) and Nirguna Brahman (without qualities) are both valid ways of understanding the Absolute.

How To Apply This:

Both the world of forms and the formless awareness are aspects of one reality.
