Paraphrase of Maitri Upaniṣad 6.3

"The formed is earth and so on. The formless is that which is beyond."

What This Means:

The physical world of elements is the formed aspect; the transcendent reality is the formless aspect.

Going Deeper:

Earth, water, fire, air, space are the formed. That which is beyond all of them is the formless Brahman.

How To Apply This:

See the divine in both the manifest world and in the silence beyond it.
