तमागतं राजा पप्रच्छ गौतमपुत्र अस्ति संवृतं लोकं यत्र मां प्रापयिष्यसि?
tamāgataṃ rājā papraccha gautamaputra asti saṃvṛtaṃ lokaṃ yatra māṃ prāpayiṣyasi?
"When Shvetaketu arrived, the king asked him: "O son of Gautama, is there a sheltered place to which you can lead me?""
What This Means:
The king asked Shvetaketu a deep question about whether he knew the path to the immortal realm.
Going Deeper:
The "sheltered place" (samvrita loka) means a realm beyond return - the ultimate destination beyond the cycle of rebirth.
How To Apply This:
The deepest questions concern where we are ultimately going, not just our immediate destination.
