इन्द्रियेभ्यः परं मनो मनसः सत्त्वमुत्तमम्। सत्त्वादधि महानात्मा महतोऽव्यक्तमुत्तमम्॥

indriyebhyaḥ paraṃ mano manasaḥ sattvamuttamam | sattvādadhi mahānātmā mahato'vyaktamuttamam ||

""Beyond the senses is the mind; beyond the mind is the intellect (sattva); beyond the intellect is the great Self; beyond the great is the Unmanifest.""

What This Means:

A hierarchy again: senses < mind < intellect < great Self < Unmanifest. Each level is subtler and more fundamental than the previous.

Going Deeper:

This recapitulates the earlier teaching, leading to the final pinnacle in the next verse.

How To Apply This:

Keep going deeper. Beyond senses, beyond mind, beyond intellect, beyond the great Self...
