नैव वाचा न मनसा प्राप्तुं शक्यो न चक्षुषा। अस्तीति ब्रुवतोऽन्यत्र कथं तदुपलभ्यते॥

naiva vācā na manasā prāptuṃ śakyo na cakṣuṣā | astīti bruvato'nyatra kathaṃ tadupalabhyate ||

""He cannot be attained by speech, mind, or eye. How can He be realized by anyone other than one who says 'He is'?""

What This Means:

The Self can't be reached through words, thoughts, or sight. Only one who affirms "It exists" can realize it.

Going Deeper:

The negative path (neti neti) has limits. At some point, one must affirm existence. Faith ("asti" - it is) opens the door.

How To Apply This:

Affirm the Self's existence. This faith creates the opening for realization.
