अग्निर्यथैको भुवनं प्रविष्टो रूपं रूपं प्रतिरूपो बभूव। एकस्तथा सर्वभूतान्तरात्मा रूपं रूपं प्रतिरूपो बहिश्च॥

agniryathaiko bhuvanaṃ praviṣṭo rūpaṃ rūpaṃ pratirūpo babhūva | ekastathā sarvabhūtāntarātmā rūpaṃ rūpaṃ pratirūpo bahiśca ||

""As the one fire, entering the world, becomes varied in shape according to the shape of each object, so the inner Self of all beings becomes varied according to each form, yet remains outside as well.""

What This Means:

Like one fire taking the shape of whatever it burns, the one Self takes the form of each being it inhabits, yet also remains beyond all forms.

This is a key non-dual teaching: the Self is both immanent (inside all) and transcendent (beyond all).

How To Apply This:

The Self in you is the same as in all beings. Forms differ; the fire is one.
