""One who lacks discrimination, whose mind is always uncontrolled, has senses that are unmanageable, like wild horses for a charioteer.""
What This Means:
Without wisdom and focus, your senses become wild horses that drag you wherever they want, like a bad driver with untrained horses.
Going Deeper:
The key is "avijñana" (lack of discrimination). Without clear seeing, the mind cannot control the senses, and chaos results.
How To Apply This:
When you feel out of control, check: Is the intellect asleep? Is the mind (reins) slack?
