"Yama said: "Even the gods had doubts about this in ancient times. It is not easy to understand - this truth is subtle. Choose another boon, O Nachiketa! Do not press me! Release me from this!""

What This Means:

Yama hesitates. Even gods have wondered about this! The answer is so subtle that Death himself is reluctant to reveal it.

Going Deeper:

Yama's reluctance is partly a test - does Nachiketa truly want this knowledge, or will he accept something easier?

How To Apply This:

Ultimate truth is subtle and hard to grasp. Are you prepared to persist when even the teacher hesitates?
