देवैरत्रापि विचिकित्सितं किल त्वं च मृत्यो यन्न सुविज्ञेयमात्थ। वक्ता चास्य त्वादृगन्यो न लभ्यो नान्यो वरस्तुल्य एतस्य कश्चित्॥

devairatrāpi vicikitsitaṃ kila tvaṃ ca mṛtyo yanna suvijñeyamāttha | vaktā cāsya tvādṛganyo na labhyo nānyo varastulya etasya kaścit ||

"Nachiketa said: "You say that even the gods had doubts, and that it is not easy to know. No other teacher like you can be found, and no other boon equals this.""

What This Means:

Nachiketa refuses to be deterred. He reasons: If even gods wonder about this, I need the best teacher - and who better than Death himself?
