तमब्रवीत्प्रीयमाणो महात्मा वरं तवेहाद्य ददामि भूयः। तवैव नाम्ना भवितायमग्निः सृङ्कां चेमामनेकरूपां गृहाण॥

tamabravītprīyamāṇo mahātmā varaṃ tavehādya dadāmi bhūyaḥ | tavaiva nāmnā bhavitāyamagniḥ sṛṅkāṃ cemāmanekarūpāṃ gṛhāṇa ||

"The great-souled Yama, delighted, said: "I give you another boon today. This fire shall be known by your name! Accept also this many-colored chain.""

What This Means:

So pleased was Yama that he gave an extra gift - the fire sacrifice would forever be named after Nachiketa, and he received a beautiful chain.
