"Yama described to him the fire that is the source of the worlds, what bricks are needed, how many, and how arranged. Nachiketa repeated it exactly. Then Death, pleased, spoke again."
What This Means:
Yama taught the complete fire ritual - the materials, construction, and procedure. Nachiketa learned it perfectly, impressing Death.
Going Deeper:
Nachiketa's ability to repeat the teaching exactly shows his exceptional focus and retention - qualities of an ideal student.
How To Apply This:
Be an attentive student. Listen fully, then verify your understanding by repeating back.
