pra te bravīmi tadu me nibodha svargyamagniṃ naciketaḥ prajānan | anantalokāptimatha pratiṣṭhāṃ viddhi tvametaṃ nihitaṃ guhāyām ||

"Yama said: "I will teach you - listen carefully, O Nachiketa. I know the fire that leads to heaven and infinite worlds. Know it as the foundation, hidden in the secret cave.""

What This Means:

Yama agrees to teach the fire sacrifice, describing it as hidden in the "secret cave" - hinting at deeper meanings beyond the ritual.

Going Deeper:

The "cave" (guha) refers both to the fire altar and to the heart where the true Self dwells. The teaching operates on multiple levels.

How To Apply This:

The deepest truths are "hidden in the cave" of your own heart. Look within.
