स्वर्गे लोके न भयं किञ्चनास्ति न तत्र त्वं न जरया बिभेति। उभे तीर्त्वाशनायापिपासे शोकातिगो मोदते स्वर्गलोके॥

svarge loke na bhayaṃ kiñcanāsti na tatra tvaṃ na jarayā bibheti | ubhe tīrtvāśanāyāpipāse śokātigo modate svargaloke ||

""In the heavenly world there is no fear; you (Death) are not there, nor does one fear old age. Having crossed over both hunger and thirst, one rejoices in heaven beyond sorrow.""

What This Means:

Nachiketa describes heaven as a place free from fear, death, old age, hunger, thirst, and sorrow - a realm of pure joy.

Going Deeper:

This sets up his second boon - he wants to know the fire sacrifice that leads to heaven. But this is still seeking limited results.

How To Apply This:

Notice what you seek - temporary pleasures of heaven, or something beyond even that?
