""Meditation (dhyana) is greater than thought. The earth meditates as it were, the sky meditates, heaven meditates, the waters meditate, the mountains meditate. Meditate on meditation as Brahman.""
What This Means:
Meditation is greater than scattered thought. Even nature - earth, sky, waters, mountains - seems to be in meditation.
Going Deeper:
The progression: thought < meditation. Dhyana is collected, focused awareness. Nature exemplifies this stillness.
How To Apply This:
Practice meditation. Even nature is in a state of meditation. Join this cosmic stillness.
