""Thought/consciousness (citta) is greater than will. When one becomes conscious, then one wills. Meditate on consciousness as Brahman.""

What This Means:

Consciousness is greater than will. You must first be aware before you can intend. Meditate on consciousness.

Going Deeper:

The progression: will < consciousness (citta). Awareness precedes intention.

How To Apply This:

Behind intention is pure awareness. Become conscious of consciousness itself.
