sa pūrvāṃ vā diśaṃ pratyudyāyātkrośanniti vāme name grāme vimukto\'smi gandhārā me janapado\'yaṃ grāmaḥ ityamumupаdiśeyuḥ ||

""He would go toward the east, crying out: 'I was left here blindfolded! My homeland is Gandhara!' Then people would give him directions: 'Go this way to Gandhara.'""

What This Means:

The lost man cries for help, and kind people point him toward home. With guidance, he can find his way.

Going Deeper:

The teacher (guru) is like those who give directions. Without a guide, the soul cannot find its way back to Brahman.

How To Apply This:

Cry out for guidance! With proper direction from a teacher, you can find your way home to the Self.
