""Suppose, dear one, someone leads a man with eyes blindfolded from the land of Gandhara and leaves him in a wilderness. He would be released facing east, north, or south.""

What This Means:

A man is blindfolded, taken from his home, and abandoned in a wilderness. He is lost, facing any direction.

Going Deeper:

The lost traveler analogy represents the soul in samsara - blindfolded by ignorance, not knowing the way home.

How To Apply This:

Without guidance, you are like a blindfolded person in the wilderness. Seek a teacher who knows the way.
