sa ya eṣo\'ṇimaitadātmyamidaṃ sarvaṃ tatsatyaṃ sa ātmā tattvamasi śvetaketo iti | bhūya eva mā bhagavānvijñāpayatviti | tathā somyeti hovāca ||
""That subtle essence is the Self of all. That is the True. That is the Self. TAT TVAM ASI, Shvetaketu." "Please teach me more, venerable sir." "So be it, dear one.""
What This Means:
After the salt teaching, again: THAT YOU ARE. The son asks for more.
Going Deeper:
The repetition of the Mahavakya after each example drives the teaching deep into understanding.
How To Apply This:
Like salt pervading water, the Self pervades all. That pervasive presence - THAT YOU ARE.
