मनोमयः प्राणशरीरो भारूपः सत्यसंकल्प आकाशात्मा सर्वकर्मा सर्वकामः सर्वगन्धः सर्वरसः सर्वमिदमभ्यात्तोऽवाक्यनादरः॥

manomayaḥ prāṇaśarīro bhārūpaḥ satyasaṃkalpa ākāśātmā sarvakarmā sarvakāmaḥ sarvagandhaḥ sarvarasaḥ sarvamidamabhyātto\'vākyanādaraḥ ||

"This Self is made of mind, with breath for its body, light for its form, truth for its will, space for its essence. It contains all works, all desires, all fragrances, all tastes. It pervades all this, yet is silent and unattached."

What This Means:

The Self within has mind for essence, breath for body, light for form. It holds all desires, all experiences, yet remains silent and free.

Going Deeper:

This describes the inner Self (Atman) dwelling in the heart. It contains everything (sarva-karma, sarva-kama) yet transcends all through non-attachment.

How To Apply This:

Meditate on the Self in the heart as containing all, yet utterly free. This is what you truly are.
