अथ खलु क्रतुमयः पुरुषो यथाक्रतुरस्मिँल्लोके पुरुषो भवति तथेतः प्रेत्य भवति स क्रतुं कुर्वीत॥

atha khalu kratumayaḥ puruṣo yathākraturasmiṃlloke puruṣo bhavati tatheтaḥ pretya bhavati sa kratuṃ kurvīta ||

"A person is made of will (kratu). As is one's will in this world, so does one become after departing. Therefore, one should form the right intention."

What This Means:

You become what you deeply intend. Your will and purpose shape your destiny, both here and hereafter.

Going Deeper:

Kratu means will, intention, purpose. This verse establishes that consciousness shapes reality - what you hold in mind, you become.

How To Apply This:

Cultivate pure, noble intentions. Your will creates your future. Hold Brahman in your will.
