Gita 9.7
सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम्।
कल्पक्षये पुनस्तानि कल्पादौ विसृजाम्यहम्।।
sarva-bhūtāni kaunteya prakṛtiṁ yānti māmikām kalpa-kṣaye punas tāni kalpādau visṛjāmy aham
"At the end of a cosmic age, O son of Kunti, all beings enter My material nature. At the beginning of the next age, I send them forth again."
What This Means:
At cosmic dissolution (kalpa-kshaye), all beings merge into Krishna's prakrti (material nature). At the next creation (kalpadau), He projects them forth again. This cycle repeats endlessly.
Going Deeper:
Beings don't disappear—they return to seed form. Like trees becoming seeds that become trees again. Krishna is the source, the resting place, and the re-projector of all existence.
How To Apply This:
You've existed in some form since beginningless time and will continue. This particular form is temporary; the essential you persists through cosmic cycles. Take the long view.
