Gita 8.15
मामुपेत्य पुनर्जन्म दुःखालयमशाश्वतम्। नाप्नुवन्ति महात्मानः संसिद्धिं परमां गताः।।

mām upetya punar janma duḥkhālayam aśāśvatam nāpnuvanti mahātmānaḥ saṁsiddhiṁ paramāṁ gatāḥ

"Having attained Me, the great souls never take birth again in this temporary abode of suffering. They have reached the highest perfection."

What This Means:

Those who reach Krishna don't return to this world of suffering (duhkhalayam) and impermanence (ashashvatam). They've achieved the highest perfection—liberation from the cycle of rebirth.

Going Deeper:

Note: Krishna doesn't call the world evil, just temporary and suffering-filled. The problem isn't existence but bondage to existence. Liberation isn't escape from life but freedom from compulsory return.

How To Apply This:

The goal isn't to hate life but to transcend compulsory repetition. You can appreciate the world while recognizing its limitations. Freedom means choice—including the choice not to return.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Punar janma= RebirthDuḥkhālaya= Abode of sufferingAśāśvata= Temporary, non-eternal
