etan me saṁśayaṁ kṛṣṇa chettum arhasy aśeṣataḥ tvad anyaḥ saṁśayasyāsya chettā na hy upapadyate
"You should completely dispel this doubt of mine, O Krishna. For no one but You can remove this doubt."
What This Means:
Arjuna asks Krishna to completely clear this doubt. Only Krishna can answer this—no one else is qualified to resolve such a profound question about spiritual destiny.
Going Deeper:
The trust in the teacher is total: tvad-anya chetta na upapadyate (no other remover is possible). This faith allows Arjuna to receive the answer fully. A question asked with complete trust receives a complete answer.
How To Apply This:
Some doubts require a trusted guide. This isn't about blind faith but recognizing when we've reached our own understanding's limit. The sincere question to a qualified source opens doors that struggle alone cannot.
