śrī bhagavān uvāca pārtha naiveha nāmutra vināśas tasya vidyate na hi kalyāṇa-kṛt kaścid durgatiṁ tāta gacchati
"The Blessed Lord said: O Partha, neither here nor hereafter is there destruction for that one. No one who does good, My dear friend, ever comes to grief."
What This Means:
Krishna's answer is immediate and reassuring: The sincere seeker never perishes—neither in this world nor the next. Anyone who does good never meets a bad end. Your spiritual effort is never lost.
Going Deeper:
Na eva iha na amutra (neither here nor there)—the seeker is protected in both worlds. Kalyana-krit (doer of good) never goes to durgati (bad destination). This is the cosmic insurance policy for sincere seekers. Good effort is never wasted.
How To Apply This:
Your spiritual efforts are banked in a cosmic account that can never be lost. Even if you don't complete the journey in this life, nothing is wasted. This should give confidence to begin and persist.
