Gita 18.45
स्वे स्वे कर्मण्यभिरतः संसिद्धिं लभते नरः। स्वकर्मनिरतः सिद्धिं यथा विन्दति तच्छृणु॥

sve sve karmaṇy abhirataḥ saṁsiddhiṁ labhate naraḥ sva-karma-nirataḥ siddhiṁ yathā vindati tac chṛṇu

"Each person devoted to their own duty attains perfection. Hear how one engaged in their own work finds success."

What This Means:

A person achieves fulfillment by dedicating themselves to their natural work. Krishna will explain how following your own path leads to perfection.

Going Deeper:

'Sve sve karmani' - each in their own duty - emphasizes individual dharma over comparative judgment. 'Abhirata' suggests loving engagement, not mere compliance. 'Samsiddhi' is spiritual perfection, not just worldly success. This democratizes liberation - any sincere person doing their proper work with the right attitude can achieve the highest goal.

How To Apply This:

Stop comparing your path to others. Find your natural work and devote yourself to it completely. Perfection comes through depth, not through imitating someone else's dharma.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Sve sve karmani= each in their own dutyAbhirata= devoted, delighting inSamsiddhi= complete perfectionSva-karma= one's own work
