Gita 11.4
मन्यसे यदि तच्छक्यं मया द्रष्टुमिति प्रभो। योगेश्वर ततो मे त्वं दर्शयात्मानमव्ययम्।।

manyase yadi tac chakyaṁ mayā draṣṭum iti prabho yogeśvara tato me tvaṁ darśayātmānam avyayam

"If You think it is possible for me to see this, O Lord, O Master of Yoga, then show me Your imperishable Self."

What This Means:

Arjuna adds humility: 'If YOU think it's possible for me to see.' He doesn't demand; he requests conditionally. 'If appropriate, Master of Yoga, show me Your imperishable form.'

Going Deeper:

The condition acknowledges that Arjuna can't determine his own capacity for such vision. He leaves the decision to Krishna. This is proper spiritual etiquette—asking while surrendering the outcome.

How To Apply This:

When asking for spiritual experiences, include surrender. 'If it's right for me to receive this, please grant it.' Leave the wisdom of timing and appropriateness to the guide.
