Gita 11.2
भवाप्ययौ हि भूतानां श्रुतौ विस्तरशो मया। त्वत्तः कमलपत्राक्ष माहात्म्यमपि चाव्ययम्।।

bhavāpyayau hi bhūtānāṁ śrutau vistaraśo mayā tvattaḥ kamala-patrākṣa māhātmyam api cāvyayam

"O lotus-eyed one, I have heard from You in detail about the origin and dissolution of beings, and also Your inexhaustible greatness."

What This Means:

Arjuna summarizes what he's learned: the origin and dissolution of all beings, and Krishna's infinite greatness. He's been an attentive student. The 'lotus-eyed' address expresses affection.

Going Deeper:

This is preparation for the request. Arjuna has heard about cosmic creation and dissolution—now he wants to SEE it. Hearing leads to wanting to experience directly.

How To Apply This:

Learning naturally leads to wanting direct experience. Don't stop at hearing about truth—aspire to see it for yourself. Let information create thirst for realization.
