Gita 10.5
अहिंसा समता तुष्टिस्तपो दानं यशोऽयशः।
भवन्ति भावा भूतानां मत्त एव पृथग्विधाः।।
ahiṁsā samatā tuṣṭis tapo dānaṁ yaśo 'yaśaḥ bhavanti bhāvā bhūtānāṁ matta eva pṛthag-vidhāḥ
"...nonviolence, equanimity, contentment, austerity, charity, fame, and infamy—all these various states of beings arise from Me alone."
What This Means:
More qualities: nonviolence, equanimity, contentment, discipline, generosity, fame, and even infamy. ALL the diverse states (bhavah) of all beings (bhutanam) come from Krishna alone.
Going Deeper:
Even infamy is included. This isn't endorsing bad reputation, but acknowledging it exists within divine creation. Krishna doesn't disown the difficult parts of reality.
How To Apply This:
When you experience any state—contentment or frustration, fame or criticism—recognize it as part of the divine tapestry. This doesn't mean passive acceptance, but seeing the larger context.
