Gita 10.6
महर्षयः सप्त पूर्वे चत्वारो मनवस्तथा।
मद्भावा मानसा जाता येषां लोक इमाः प्रजाः।।
maharṣayaḥ sapta pūrve catvāro manavas tathā mad-bhāvā mānasā jātā yeṣāṁ loka imāḥ prajāḥ
"The seven great sages of ancient times, and the four Manus before them—all were born of My mind and share My nature. From them came all these beings in the world."
What This Means:
The seven great rishis and four Manus (progenitors of humanity) were 'mind-born' (manasa jata) from Krishna. All the world's beings descend from them. Krishna is the grandfather of everyone.
Going Deeper:
The creative hierarchy: from Krishna's mind come the primal beings, from them come all others. It's not mechanical creation but mental projection—consciousness generating consciousness.
How To Apply This:
You're connected to the divine source through a chain of consciousness. Your existence isn't random—it's part of a lineage extending back to the divine mind itself.
