Gita 10.36
द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम्। जयोऽस्मि व्यवसायोऽस्मि सत्त्वं सत्त्ववतामहम्।।

dyūtaṁ chalayatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham jayo 'smi vyavasāyo 'smi sattvaṁ sattvavatām aham

"Among cheats I am gambling; I am the splendor of the splendid; I am victory, I am determination, and I am the goodness of the good."

What This Means:

Surprising inclusion: among deceitful activities, gambling. Also: the brilliance in brilliant people, victory itself, determination itself, the goodness in good people.

Going Deeper:

Even gambling is included! This isn't endorsement but acknowledgment that Krishna pervades everything, including what we'd call negative. The Divine isn't present only in approved activities.

How To Apply This:

This challenges spiritual comfort zones. The Divine is present even in what we disapprove of. This doesn't mean 'anything goes' but that nothing is truly outside divine presence.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Dyūta= GamblingTejas= Splendor, brillianceVyavasāya= Determination, resolve
