Gita 10.18
विस्तरेणात्मनो योगं विभूतिं च जनार्दन।
भूयः कथय तृप्तिर्हि शृण्वतो नास्ति मेऽमृतम्।।
vistareṇātmano yogaṁ vibhūtiṁ ca janārdana bhūyaḥ kathaya tṛptir hi śṛṇvato nāsti me 'mṛtam
"Tell me again in detail of Your yoga and glory, O Janardana, for I am never satisfied hearing Your nectar-like words."
What This Means:
Arjuna wants MORE detail about Krishna's yoga and vibhuti. He can't get enough—'there's no satisfaction (triptih nasti) in hearing Your nectar-words.' Divine teaching is endlessly refreshing.
Going Deeper:
The sign of genuine interest: wanting more. Unlike ordinary subjects that saturate, divine truth remains ever-fresh (amrita—nectar/immortal). You don't get tired of what you truly love.
How To Apply This:
If spiritual teaching feels stale, the problem isn't the teaching—it's the approach. Genuine thirst for truth is never quenched; satisfaction comes from the drinking, not from being done.
