oṃ āpyāyantu mamāṅgāni vākprāṇaścakṣuḥ śrotram atho balam indriyāṇi ca sarvāṇi | sarvaṃ brahmaupaniṣadaṃ māhaṃ brahma nirākuryāṃ mā mā brahma nirākarot | anirākaraṇam astv anirākaraṇaṃ me 'stu | tadātmani nirate ya upaniṣatsu dharmāste mayi santu te mayi santu | oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ||

Om. May my limbs, speech, breath, eyes, ears, and all my senses grow strong. All that exists is the Brahman of the Upanishads. May I never deny Brahman, may Brahman never deny me. Let there be no denial, let there be no denial from me. May all the virtues taught in the Upanishads dwell in me who delights in the Self. May they dwell in me. Om, peace, peace, peace.

What This Means:

A comprehensive prayer: may the body and senses be strengthened. May I never reject Brahman (ultimate reality), and may Brahman never reject me. May the teachings of the Upanishads take root in me.

Going Deeper:

"Nirākaraṇa" (denial/rejection) works both ways — we can deny Brahman through ignorance, and we can feel rejected by truth. The prayer dissolves both. "Ātmani nirata" (delighting in the Self) is the state where Upanishadic teachings naturally abide.

How To Apply This:

Strengthen body as vessel for wisdom. Never reject truth, even uncomfortable truth. Study sacred texts not just intellectually but to embody their virtues. Delight in your deepest Self.
